He pulls away leaving me reeling from what is possibly the best kiss I’ve ever had. No…that was the best kiss I’ve ever had. I open my eyes slowly hoping he wouldn’t stop with just one kiss.

I can’t believe I opened up to him like I did. He’s still here with me; he didn’t leave me like I expected him to.

A half smile slinks across his face making my heart beat faster. “You don’t know how long I’ve wanted to do that,” he whispers, sending shivers through my body.

I breathe in abruptly. “Then don’t stop.” There. I said it. It took every ounce of me to get that out.

He crushes his lips to mine, claiming me. I fist my hands through his hair. When we finally pry ourselves from each other, our breathing is rapid. I swear my heart is about to beat out of my chest. His fingers brush my hair away from my face, making my head spin from just his touch.

Adam makes me forget about being with Riley. When we are together, I don’t think about calling him or texting him nor do I think about all of the times he has hurt me.

With my hands still in his hair, I brush my lips lightly against his.

“Yes!” I hear a faint whisper. Adam and I stop suddenly and look at each other. How long has she been awake? He obviously heard it, too, which relieves me because I thought I was hearing things at first. As if we read each other’s mind, we grinned shrewdly. Picking up where we left off, I wrap my arms around his neck, letting out a soft moan when he kisses me. He pulls me on top of him, breaking the kiss just long enough to take off my jacket and toss it to the floor. My mouth is back on his in an instant, rubbing my hands across his chest. A groan escapes his throat when I run kisses along his jaw.

“Guys! Hello! I’m still here!” she exclaims as she jumps out of bed. Adam and I can’t help but laugh loudly. “You know, I’m happy for you and all, but if you ever pull that shit again we going to have problems!” Adam and I continue to roll with laughter. Tears form in my eyes from laughing so hard.

She slowly climbs back under the covers, glaring at us. I lift my head off Adam’s chest and smirk at him, hoping he would get the hint. We roll so he is now on top of me in the middle of the bed. Alexis has
